What is the difference between VRF and VRV systems?

VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) and VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume) are the same technology. "VRV" is a registered trademark of Daikin; all other manufacturers use "VRF". Both use inverter-driven compressors to vary refrigerant flow to multiple indoor units simultaneously, achieving high efficiency and precise temperature control.

How much does a VRF system cost in Pakistan?

VRF system costs in Pakistan depend on the number of indoor units, building area, brand and heat recovery requirement. Is a VRF system suitable for my building?

VRF systems are ideal for office buildings (5,000โ€“100,000 sq ft), hotels, hospitals, shopping malls and mixed-use developments requiring individual room temperature control, energy efficiency and quiet operation. They are less cost-effective for small single-zone applications where conventional split AC suffices.

What is the COP/EER of VRF systems?

Modern VRF systems achieve COP values of 3.0โ€“5.5 and EER ratings of 10โ€“18 BTU/Wยทhr, making them 30โ€“40% more efficient than conventional systems. Heat recovery VRF can achieve system COPs above 6.0 by transferring heat between zones rather than rejecting it outdoors.

Do you provide VRF maintenance contracts in Pakistan?
